My Saturday project has expanded into Sunday. Another load of yarn going into the wash and another about to be rolled into a ball. I have about 14 more skeins that need to be washed and rolled and about five that just need to be rolled. Fun, fun! When I am finally done, I will start on my UGA themed/colors blanket.

I finally got my package late yesterday from China, but unfortunately, I was due somewhere so I was unable to open it until I got home at 9:30 last night. I started opening but it had so much tape on it that I couldn’t even get to the box. I spent about a half hour getting the tape off and finally gave up because I was tired. I started working on it again today and when I finally got close to where the box was at, it started expanding on me. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard in my life trying to get the tape off and open this box. So now I just have to sort through everything, wash it and wind it all up. So excited to play. I had planned on videotaping it, but I didn’t expect it to start expanding on me before I even got the box open. Now I know better! Start filming the minute you start working on the box.

Woo hoo! It’s here! That box right there contains 40 skeins of yarn that have been vacuum packed. Unfortunately, I can’t open it right now because I have to be somewhere, but I will open it as soon as I can. From what I’ve been told, it will pretty much almost explode on me since it’s so tightly vacuum sealed. I can’t wait! I’ll try to film the drama of opening it

Woo hoo! Looks like my yarn order just arrived in the US. According to UPS, I should have it Thursday, which means I’ll probably have it on Friday or Saturday because they rarely delivered to my place on time. I’m so excited that I get my stuff this week!

I asked my friends to vote on which pattern they thought I should do for a UGA themed throw/blanket. The majority voted for number two. What is your opinion? Or maybe I should start with making number two but make all three eventually?

So aside from red, black and white blankets to support my Georgia team (next on my list), what other color combos would you like to see me make? Do you prefer baby blankets, throws or bigger blankets? I’m currently selling my blankets on Facebook marketplace or if you’re interested in one, you can just message me. Plus, I’m open to making custom blankets. You just have to message me with your request and we can discuss details.
