This is a Low Poly Intarsia of a flying owl. It is made with walnut, spalted maple, wenge, and purpleheart. The piece has a 39" wingspan. The edges of the wings and the face are thicker wood pieces to give it depth. The grain of each piece is carefully placed in the correct direction. Each piece is also routed or sanded on the edges.
