Rob has had many requests that he offer some of his bird photography for sale. So he has started framing and matting some of his shots, and is selling them in our shop and on our website. For now he is focusing on birds that can be seen locally in Western North Carolina.

A murder of crows fresh out of the kiln! Crows are among the most intelligent animals on the planet. They have the ability to remember individual human faces. So be nice to them!

This time of year one of Beth’s favorite things to do is harvest flowers from our garden for arrangements in the shop. It’s a good thing she makes so many cool vases!

Beth is doing some one of a kind covered jars with sgraffito patterns. On this one she used a rutile slip that, when overlapped with the glaze, gave us this groovy blue!

We make ceremonial vessels. Grand vases for grand occasions, personally inscribed mementos for special events, urns for departed loved ones, Eucharistic chalice and paten sets. It’s uplifting to know that our work is present during these special times.

I made this tree about ten years ago and it sat up high on a shelf in our studio collecting dust. In the past couple of years I’ve started making the songbird sculptures, and have been thoroughly enjoying it. So I decided to put some birds on this tree. A couple of Indigo Buntings.
