Finally getting around to posting that video of how I fixed my boo boo when I applied the "Checked Out" paper......

As I was applying the paper to the one side it fell short with wrapping around that front skinny panel. But once I finished applying the paper I had more than enough leftover from the other side to help fix my boo boo.
Some will say I could've just blended that little bit I fell short of with paint and yes I typically I would have but that's not the look I was going for.
Some will say I should watch more videos or plan better and I can say "nah I'm good" 🤣
Was it a big deal? No not really because mistakes can be fixed so don't just throw in the towel when you make one.
I didnt think it was a natural disaster of a mistake but I wanted to show you how I fixed it.
So this is how I fixed it, hopefully this video doesn't ruffle to many feathers like my last one 😂
I know what I'm doing but sometimes you go in to ideas and plans fail!

***Oh and yes I do have a small iron but couldn't find it, my bigger one did the job just fine and dandy!

Would you believe me if I told you I made some "boo boos" when it came to applying this checkered decoupage paper?

Well I did......and it’s completely normal to make a mistake because nothing is perfect no matter how it may seem online.
This is why I always try my best to show you how I do things, sometimes it all works out and sometimes it doesn't no matter how you plan it.
I show you so that way you know that it's ok if something doesn't work out there's always a way to fix it. Everyone does things differently thats what makes us all unique. 🩷
I'm not perfect by any means, there are pieces that will test you.

Don't stop trying, sometimes this is easy and sometimes it's not 💁‍♀️
Everyone learns differently and if I can help just one person by showing them that I too make mistakes then that's all that matters 🙂

I still have a long ways to go but I wanted to show you some of my process with applying the decoupage paper 😀
Sometimes it's easy peasy lemon squeezy, other times I feel like a caged raccoon wishing I had octopus arms but it all works out in the end 😂

I have some touch ups to do with paint and thats ok, also have to add the trim pieces that I cut off and have to add paper on the sides, trust the process!

Well I got the paper applied to the drawer then tapped out for the day 😂Any progress is progress ❤️
