Lazeric (Lay-zer-ik) is a family owned laser engraving business that specializes in burning highly detailed photographs into wood. There are a number of services and products we offer: custom signs, custom Christmas cards or ornaments, wedding products, keychains, custom fridge magnets, engraved metal business cards, engraved tumblers and glassware, coasters, 3D printing and Engineering services,

etc. Eric and Trista Haverluk are the owners of Lazeric and also husband and wife. Eric spent his career as a Mechanical Engineer in the Pharmaceutical / Industrial automation industry designing machines that impact millions of people throughout the world. Trista spent her career as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor where she helped, fought, and advocated for countless people. Trista has a passion for people and providing excellent customer service for our business. She is also very artsy and spends her time designing different products for our customers and future product lines. Eric is highly technical, detail orientated, and picky. He studies and treats your photos as his own. Your product must pass his very high standards before you receive it. The best customer service experience is that phone call you didn’t have to make. These two stainless steel necklaces were made for a daughter and granddaughter who recently lost someone very important to them.

The fronts are engraved simply with “Mom” and “Grandma” with the years of her life.

On the back of each is something much more personal: her actual EKG from her final moments.

Definitely one of the more meaningful projects I’ve had the privilege to do.

If you would have told me in high school that I’d end up with a 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree and a 2-year degree in Nanotechnology…

That I’d spend 12 years designing custom automated machines for the pharmaceutical packaging industry…

That I’d eventually leave all of it to start a laser engraving business…

And then use those skills to reverse engineer and 3D print missing LEGOs for my kids…

I would’ve told you that you were high.

Definitely wasn’t on the bingo card.

Wouldn’t change a thing.
