Crafty Creations by Susan I love sewing many times of fun things. I make masks, bags, general home decor items. I learned how to sew at a very young age and even made my prom dress.

When I entered the corporate world I didn't have much time for sewing. When the pandemic hit I was like everyone else, stuck at home without masks. I used a bed sheet to hand sew a few for my family. As time wore on I managed to buy a new sewing machine and made masks for my family. Once I was able to get real mask elastic and new fabrics I started making masks to give to my children's teachers. B

y the summer of 2020 I was giving 2 masks to any teacher in my town who wanted them. By December I had given out over 600 masks to teachers. I expected masks to not be needed as much in 2021, so I put the extra masks on Etsy to sell. I still had requests from teachers and I have given a total of over 950 masks to our local school system. I have made over 1860 masks so far. As the year has gone by I restock masks when people have wanted them and started also making bags with the extra fabric I had. I have also expanded to mug rugs, table runners, and all kinds of other fun items. It has been a lovely distraction to be able to sew this past 2 years and I am happy to make items for you.

Another classic here. Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, I have been able to make this bag in the regular and large sizes. The outside is all vinyl and the inside is water resistant canvas. Super cute, super easy and full of nostalgia.

I am so excited that I will be participating in the Holiday Boutique at Laurelwood Arboretum in Wayne, NJ. It will be on Saturday December 14 and Sunday December 15 from 10 am until 4 pm.
