The peacocks roam wild all over Miami and Coconut Grove so we thought it was so apropos to feature this peacock (of the past) in our Coconut Grove clients entry. We also adore this “Miami” fabric by that we reupholstered this Hollywood Regency bench in AND this stunning photo by David Goldis who was famous for documenting a community of elderly Jewish retirees in Miami Beach!

Pacific Heights, but make it personal. 🍋

For this San Francisco home, we wanted a kitchen that could host a crowd and still feel like the heart of the house. A sculptural black hood banded in polished nickel anchors the room. Marble-wrapped surfaces, oversized glass globe pendants and cane-back stools keep everything light and inviting. A vintage-inspired runner adds warmth underfoot.

Then we gave our clients a little theater. ✨

Tucked just off the kitchen, the banquette is framed in saffron drapery trimmed with black tassel fringe, so stepping in feels like a curtain going up. Inside, there’s a faceted mirrored chandelier, a sculptural pedestal table, floral and coral cushions, and still lifes on the shelves. It’s the coziest seat in the house for morning coffee, homework or a long lunch.

Designing the inside of my pool house was so much fun, even though it’s tiny, I wanted it to be ecelectic and inviting. I used tile from Mexico and reupholstered this vintage bamboo pull out sofa in a vintage Schumacher. The vintage bamboo coffee table is from Circa Who Furniture ™ and the antique light is from Massimo Frank Lighting. I still have plans to wallpaper the walls and ceiling.

The interior design in Santa Fe has stolen our hearts. Every lintel in the home at 460 Camino de las Animas is carved. These headers over doors and windows boast geometric, Scandinavian-themed designs carved by the artist B.J.O. Nordfeldt, who built the house in 1921 with his wife, Margaret Doolittle Nordfeldt.
