Powder Room Refresh – No Renovation Needed

A little change goes a long way! We gave this powder room a fresh new look without the mess of a full renovation. By removing wallpaper, swapping out the ceiling and vanity lighting, upgrading the mirror and bath accessories, and adding a chic marble wall shelf, we completely transformed the space.

Check out my basement staircase refresh project. We removed the wall to wall carpeting. Installed new hardwood flooring on landing. Refinished all the wood treads. New statement chandelier. Replaced dated handrails with modern black ones and finished with an animal print runner.

Check out one of my family room partial refresh projects. My clients wanted to incorporate their existing large square ivory leather ottoman, the two swivel chairs (but reupholster), purple window treatments and neutral rug into new room layout (see below) . I eliminated the sectional couch and flanked two new kid and pet friendly custom fabric couches on either side of the ottoman. Selected new fabric for chairs and had reupholstered. Just a few updates gave this active family room a new look.

Goal for this kitchen center island renovation project was to create a more conversational seating area . We eliminated the rectangular island with breakfast bar and replaced with an L shaped island to cozy up the seating area— this concept was initially completely out of my clients comfort zone. By changing the island shape we were able to add a second dishwasher, a built-in drawer microwave and a larger beverage center. The mitered Dekton countertop complimented the perimeter marble countertops and gave them that industrial vibe they were going for.
