I almost didn’t post this. I doubted that it was “worthy”. How dumb!! This porch makes me smile. I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars; in fact I spent less than $50. The lighting wasn’t great, our porch isn’t in great shape, our front doors need painted, I just bought the mums today so they aren’t blossomed out. But, guess what?.. I know I’m not alone. So why do we put ourselves down and think we don’t have anything to offer, just because we can’t show off an over the top porch? We shouldn’t! Not everything has to be “Pinterest worthy”. Not saying those porches aren’t spectacular and beautiful. Just saying, you don’t have to feel like your porch is “less than” just because it’s simple or not anything grand. Let’s get back to “basic” being okay and celebrated!
