Lucky Dog W-B Designs

Shannon and her husband Nic launched Lucky Dog W-B Designs in 2018, in their hometown of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. They wanted to transform colorful secondhand “upcycled” glassware & picture frames that Nic rescues from thrift stores, yard sales or people literally throwing them away into beautiful creations that would bring warmth and peace to any home. From her basement workshop, Shannon applies crystal points and tumbled stones to make these finds into one-of-a-kind candle holders, vases, and frames. A lover of arts & crafts from an early age, Shannon has been designing and making home accessories using crystals, rocks, and other minerals professionally for 15+ years. Shannon and Nic named their company after their Siberian Husky, Lucky, whom Nic rescued from a horrible situation in 2010, for two reasons: because her laid-back, easygoing nature (not your typical husky!) inspired them to pause the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the little things; and because they like to think of their secondhand finds as being “rescued” and given a second chance, just like their Lucky.
