Leons Garden World of Delaware

The plants don’t care if you’re having a bad day. They still need water. 😂🌿💦

Just another day working at a garden center. One minute you’re questioning everything, the next you’re watering 500 plants. 🪴

Garden center employees know the struggle. 😂

This is the kind of compliment we’ll be thinking about all week. 🥹🌿

We put a lot of love into keeping our plants happy and healthy, so hearing “You guys always have the BEST plants” hits different. 💚

Thank you for choosing your plants at Leon’s Garden World!

🌼 DON’T throw away your mums when they stop blooming!

Those brown, crispy flowers don’t necessarily mean your mum is finished. If the foliage underneath is still healthy, it may have plenty of life left. 🌱

Here’s what to do:

🌱 Plant it in the ground instead of tossing it.

☀️ Choose a sunny spot with at least half a day of sun. Full sun is even better.

✂️ Remove the faded blooms, but don’t cut the entire plant back right away. Wait until a hard freeze turns it brown, then trim it down to a few inches above the soil.

Here in Delaware, mums can be a beautiful addition to the garden beyond just one fall season. 🌼🍂

That’s not just a friend. That’s a plant bestie. 😂🌿💚

The kind of friend who sees a plant and immediately thinks of you.

Tag your plant bestie who would absolutely do this. 🪴👇

Turns out I didn’t need to “cheer up.” I just needed to stop by the garden center. 😂🪴

A little bit of this… a little bit of that… and somehow four new houseplants are coming home with me. 🌿

Consider this your sign to get a little something green today. 👀

Leon's Garden World was thrilled to host our pumpkin painting event, bringing together families from across the community for an afternoon of creativity and fall fun. The kids had an absolute blast choosing their pumpkins and letting their imaginations run wild with paint, and their smiles said it all. We want to send a huge thank you to all the moms, dads, and customers who came out to join us. It's your support that makes events like this possible, and we can't wait to see you at the next one.
