Possibly the final week for mixed bouquets! I was able to put a few at Food City locations in and that definitely have Fall flavor. I just love these subtly warm colors of this one-must plan more for next season.

I'll update if I have a few more for next week. I may have mixed snapdragon bunches at the very least!

Still flowering! This weekend you can find the purple-based bouquets at Food City Farmington (I've been rotating the locations), and the seasonal mixes at Farmington Food Co-op and Food City Wilton.

The end (of the flower season) is in sight, but by the looks of the market bouquets, I am in full denial of the change of season! I'll keep putting out bright, colorful mixed bunches for a limited time. I do have some moody snapdragons coming on and some celosia as well as the final lisianthus stems.

****Dropped today**** lisianthus bunches (Very long lasting! As pretty as peonies!) are at Food City Farmington as well as assorted mixed bouquets there and in Wilton and at Farmington Food Co-op too.

As the season winds down and the selection of flowers becomes narrower, I find it creatively thrilling to try unexpected combinations. This lisianthus variety has been very frustrating and yet so, so beautiful. Would I grow it again? 🫣

Fall-tinted sunflowers, soft lavender lisianthus, and ruby Celosia are providing some drama to close out this month's market bouquets. I'm actually getting close to wrapping up the season, but will have pretty stems to share for as long as they last. I also have a very long list of notes to guide my planning for the 2027 season!

Flowers this weekend can be found at Food City Farmington and Wilton, and at the Farmington Food Co-op

Love this time of year, and pairing light with dark.

Flowers for a beautiful Friday! I've set out some generous lisianthus bunches for you because, wow, my spring planning brain sure was on an interesting wavelength! To make the best of it, enjoy this treat of fresh, lush, fluffy and long-lasting flowers that had to be covered through 3 frost warnings (see photo with frost cloth, taken only 3 short months ago).

I was a little late to the markets today because I took the opportunity to run to the field when I realized it wasn't going to rain. While there, I predictably lost track of time. I was trying to determine if the Celosia is actually maturing or just hanging out, having fun. So while I need to wait a bit longer for those, I settled on some fluffy lisianthus and cool SunFill sunflowers, shown here with dark centers and purple petals. My spring Snapdragon patch is also kicking out a few bonus stems. While we are getting closer to more traditional autumn colors and textures (or not), in the meantime I am going to have fun mixing up these delicate, season-defying combinations!
