Open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am-5pm for retail and donations.

Art Shac will have a booth at Ardmore Artwalk this Saturday, Nov . 7th from 11am to 4:30pm. Come print a fabric patch with us . Our booth will be in the Ardmore Moravian Church parking lot .

Thanks to everyone who participated to make The Ethical Sweatshop fundraiser event a success this past weekend. Thanks to those who volunteered their time to sew , print and every other part needed to pull the event together . A huge thanks to Village Fabric too. We have a few cool totes left for sale , but not many .

Art Shac and Village Fabric are hosting an Ethical Sweatshop at Art Shac today. Totes and fabric patches made from fabric scraps are for sale. All proceeds will go to Art Shac and the Piedmont Environmental Alliance.

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Southern Creative Reuse Collective held its largest-ever conference this month in Greenville, a sign of growing interest in upcycling and repurposing to advance sustainability, support creativity, and make art more accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Hosted by ReCraft Creative Reuse Center at its Greenville store from Oct. 17-19, the third-annual conference brought together 23 organizations from across the Southeast.

Creative reuse centers divert unwanted, gently used art supplies from landfills by providing them to artists, educators, families, and community members for creative projects. By seeking and accepting donations and offering them at affordable prices, the organizations give those unwanted materials a second life.
