"Waterproof" and "water-resistant" are not the same thing. In Florida, that difference can cost you a floor. 🌧️

**Water-resistant** = handles a spill if you wipe it up reasonably fast.
**Waterproof** = handles the spill you didn't notice until tomorrow.

Guess which one matters more when you've got afternoon storms, a pool door, and a dog who thinks the lake is a bathtub.

Here's the part most people don't know: it's not just about the surface. It's the core of the plank. A waterproof core won't swell, warp, or hold odor even after real exposure.
