A little coastal sweetness for baby Evie! 🐚🎀
I loved creating this beautiful seashell-themed baby shower dessert spread, filled with soft pinks, creamy ivory and beige accents, delicate pearls, and all the little details that made this celebration so special.

“Sea You Soon Baby!” 🐚👶🏼✨💕

These sweet little cupcakes were made for a shower hosted by a wonderful group of coworkers who came together to celebrate their mama-to-be. What a beautiful way to show someone how loved and supported she is before welcoming her little one into the world. 💕

There are some things I bake that mean a little more than others. ❤️

Last week, I had the honor of baking cupcakes, brownies, and bars for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida through St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Being able to use something I love—baking—to bring a little sweetness, comfort, and hopefully a few smiles to people who need them most is truly one of the most meaningful things I get to do.

I’m incredibly proud to be a small part of something that makes a difference. Because sometimes, something as simple as sharing a talent, giving your time, or using something you love can have an impact far beyond what you ever imagined. ❤️

And that’s my little encouragement to my friends, family, and followers: find something you love and find a way to use it for good. Volunteer. Share your talents. Give your time. Lend a hand. Whether you bake, build, teach, create, organize, listen, or simply show up—there is always a way to make someone’s day a little brighter.

You never know how much a small act of kindness might mean to someone who needs it. And honestly, I think the world could use a whole lot more of that. ❤️
Grateful to be able to bake with purpose, give back, and spread a little sweetness where it’s needed most. 🧁🍫

This was such a FUN one to make! 💕🎂

I had the pleasure of creating a birthday cake and cupcakes for a Squishy Dumpling-themed birthday party this weekend, and I absolutely loved bringing this colorful little world to life!
I handmade all of the adorable squishy faces for the cupcakes, giving each one its own little personality. 🥹
And of course, we had to have a variety of fun flavors to go along with them:
🍊 Creamsicle
🍬 Cotton Candy
🍋 Lemon
🍫 Chocolate Chocolate Chip

The cake brought everything together with colorful buttercream swirls, strings of pastel "squishy" details, and three little dumplings joining the party on top. 🌈🧁

Happy Birthday to a very special birthday girl! I hope your celebration was every bit as sweet, colorful, and fun as these little squishies. 💗✨.

📚🍊 From the pages of a favorite book to my kitchen…
One of my favorite things about reading is when a story inspires creativity.
While reading The Five-Star Weekend by Elin Hilderbrand, I couldn't stop thinking about Hollis and her fictional blog, Hungry with Hollis, and the meals she prepares to share with her friends -including Paloma Shortbread Cookies. The thought of these delicious sounding cookies kept popping up in my daydreams so I decided to jump into the kitchen and see what I could come up with…
Here they are: a buttery grapefruit shortbread dipped in a bright grapefruit-tequila glaze inspired by the classic Paloma cocktail.

I like to imagine these are the kind of cookies Hollis would have shared with her friends.

🍊 Paloma Shortbread Cookies

Cookie Ingredients:
1 cup salted butter, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp grapefruit zest
1 egg yolk
2¾ cups all-purpose flour

Grapefruit Tequila Glaze Ingredients:
2 tsp grapefruit zest
2 Tbsp + 2 tsp blanco tequila
2 Tbsp fresh grapefruit juice
2 cups powdered sugar
Tiny pinch of salt

Directions
In a large bowl, combine the softened salted butter, sugar, and grapefruit zest until well mixed.
Stir in the egg yolk.
Add the flour and mix by hand until a dough forms. The dough is fairly stiff, and mixing by hand helps keep the cookies tender by preventing the dough from being overworked.
Roll the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about ¼-inch thick.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Cut into 2–3-inch circles and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 300°F for 9–12 minutes, or until the bottoms are just beginning to turn golden. The tops should remain pale.
Cool the cookies completely.

Glaze
Whisk together the powdered sugar, grapefruit juice, tequila, grapefruit zest, and a tiny pinch of salt until smooth.
Dip the tops of each cooled cookie into the glaze rather than spreading it. As you work, stir the glaze every few cookies to keep the grapefruit zest evenly distributed so each cookie gets a beautiful citrus finish.
Allow the glaze to set completely before serving.
