And here she is! Thank you Nancy P for trusting me with this absolutely beautiful quilt!! Nancy is definitely the queen of needleturn appliqué! This 70x70 quilt is completely turned. All of the fabric is hand dyed. We decided on double batting it with 80/20 and washable wool to really let the freemotion quilting sing.

It’s has been crazy busy here finishing some absolutely stunning custom quilts! These three quilts are from different customers but all the same designer- Judy Niemeyer . Excited to start the final quilt “Prismatic Star.” It is for a new customer who lives in Phoenix AZ!

We had a great time at Winthrop’s Chamber banquet this past weekend. We had the opportunity to decorate two tables and provide 2 cakes for the cake auction. Great things are happening in Winthrop and we are proud to be apart of it!

Today I started quilting my 4th “Live a Thankful Life” quilt! This one was mailed all the way from Missouri. Trying something new and loving how it turned out! I have one more to do and all 5 of them will be quilted differently!

EXCITING NEWS!!

We all know quilters love a good sale, myself included. Starting June 20th any edge to edge quilts brought in on the 20th of EACH month will receive 20% off their quilting bill. This 20% sale does NOT include custom quilting, and batting. As always you are welcome to bring your own batting or purchase from us.

Simply put your quilt in a labeled bag with your name and contact information and drop it off at The Thimble Box in New Ulm, or at our location in Winthrop and we will get your project finished and ready for you to bind. This sale does not require a special bag or punch card and will happen every month on the 20th.

What happens if the 20th lands on a Sunday? The sale will be good Monday the 21st.

As always if you happen to be dropping quilts off at The Thimblebox, be sure to bring your shopping list. There is a wide variety of fabrics, notions, books and patterns available to purchase. New Ulm is lucky to have a great store in beautiful down town New Ulm.
