I wish I was able to share this sooner, but technology was being weird. 🤪

On March 7th I was able to see one of my favorite (if not top) artists on her first solo headlining tour! The show was INCREDIBLE, and she puts on an amazing show 👏 👏👏

I am so excited to share this NEW set I made for an AMAZING artist! I was inspired by the wonderful and her incredible music. Her music inspired me so much that I had to make her something; I couldn't get the ideas out of my head fast enough!

I was lucky enough to be able to hand her this elegant yet fierce (just like Ella) ensemble at her concert on March 7th at .

I made this with rabbit vertebrae and atlas, along with freshwater pearls on rose gold chain.

Her music will continue to inspire me as I work, go check out her music! You will be inspired too!

I’ve seen our state bird has been used as a symbol of resistance and resilience in these trying and unprecedented times. I never would have thought our state would enter global consciousness and discussion again and yet here we are.

But I am absolutely proud of the way our state has shown up for community and each other. And I’ll always represent being born and raised here in Mni Sota Makoce. My people’s blood is in the very soil we call home. My ancestors died for it.

I can’t do much, but all I can do is doodle on my silly little iPad to keep myself busy.

These are tough times but we’re standing strong.

Hey friends! Wow its been crazy busy at home! Remodeling and repairs take a toll!! Haven't been able to sit-down and create anything for a while!

Today I was able to sit down and start working on something new! Just a small thing nothing to crazy! Had some "helpers" remind me to take a break!

I hope to be sharing new stuff sooner than later!

This happend in my state, no more than 30 minutes from my house... I fear for my friends, family, neighbors, and everyones safety.

This is uncalled for, this is appalling, this is MURDER.

Just needed to express my opinion and feelings.

An ICE agent killed 37-year-old mother Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis during an immigration sweep that is part of a 2,000 agent “fraud” crackdown in Minnesota, a dragnet so overblown it feels designed to produce exactly this kind of tragedy. Mayor Jacob Frey has blasted federal officials, telling ICE to “get the F**K out of Minneapolis” and that the city never asked for this occupation. Governor Tim Walz has urged calm but called the killing “deeply disturbing,” vowed a full state level review, and warned that the surge is inflaming tensions rather than keeping anyone safe.​

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem rushed to brand Renee Nicole Good as an “act of domestic terrorism,” claiming she tried to “run over” officers and that the shooting was self defense, without offering a shred of public evidence that she posed an imminent threat. It is unbelievable how blatantly they are lying about something we all saw video of from multiple angles. Minneapolis’ mayor and police chief have both said the federal narrative does not match what they are seeing, and bystanders say the videos show a panicked attempt to get away, not some ISIS style car attack. Walz has been clear that Minnesotans are right to be angry and that federal agents will be held to the same standards as any other armed officer on the street.​

Donald trump is now telling supporters that an ICE agent “almost died,” that Renee Nicole Good “viciously ran over” him, that it is “hard to believe he is alive” and “lucky to be alive,” even as the clips show the car turning and moving past, not over, the agents as well as clearly seeing the agent who shot her walking away just fine. It is the same playbook used after police killings in the George Floyd era: rewrite reality in real time with cartoon villain language, smear the dead woman as a terrorist, and call it law and order while local leaders like Frey and Walz say out loud that something is very wrong with what those videos show.
