Mama’s Frugal Magic Just a small-town mama making core memories with more magic than money.

I started making my own dish soap to save money…
and accidentally healed my hands in the process.

Dawn was wrecking my skin and my eczema would NOT calm down.
This homemade Castile soap + washing soda + orange oil combo has been a total game-changer.

✔️ Cuts grease
✔️ Gentle on sensitive skin
✔️ Cheap to make
✔️ Refillable + low waste

Sometimes frugal swaps aren’t just cheaper — they’re healthier too 🤍
Save this if your hands are tired of harsh soap.

Snow day s’mores! We busted out the tent and s’more maker (that we thrifted brand new last year, btw) to go camping in our living room during our snow days !

One of those frugal swaps that just makes sense 🔥
I was tired of buying disposable lighters over and over… so I grabbed a rechargeable one instead.
Works for candles, wax warmers, emergencies, and snow-storm prep — and I’ll never need to replace it.

Small swaps = long-term savings ✨
Comment “link” and I’ll send you the one I use 🤍

Cheap lunch idea that felt like a treat 🍜

Ramen, hard-boiled eggs, and a snow day movie = happy kids for pennies.

What’s your go-to “fun but frugal” lunch?

Just a gentle reminder that empty jars take up the same amount of space as full ones 🤍

We’re prepping for a blizzard + power outages, so I’m filling jars with water just in case.

Not panic buying. Not clearing shelves. Just using what we already have and being prepared in a quiet, frugal way.

Peace of mind doesn’t have to cost anything. ❄️💧

I accidentally made giant cookies 🍪😅

Not aesthetic. Not perfect. But homemade, frugal, and so darn delicious.

So tell me —
What’s your favorite kind of cookie?

(Because baking at home > bakery prices every time.)

Guess how much 1 on 1 time costs me 💚 $0
and I earned a cute note from my teenage son! For him, that means we go to church and browse goodwill and we both love it.

I’m officially done buying the tiny bags of mini muffins 🙋‍♀️
One box + thrifted pans = snacks for DAYS.

If you’re a mama trying to save money without sacrificing convenience, you’re in the right place 🤍

When I realized my 5-year-old was a completely different kid after having snacks and drinks with Red 40 in them… we switched to dye-free foods. 💛

Affordable dye-free popsicles are hard to find, so we make our own!
✔️ Juice
✔️ Popsicle molds
✔️ Happy kids

💰 Price breakdown:
• Store-bought dye-free popsicles: ~$4–$6 per box (6–8 pops)
• Homemade popsicles: ~$2–$3 for 10–12 pops using juice we already buy

Their favorite? 🍊 Orange juice pops
New obsession? 🍎🍇 Apple grape

Comment LINK and I’ll send you the popsicle mold we use!

Another toddler lunchbox idea 🧡

This whole lunch was made from pantry staples + store brands.
No themed snacks. No single-serve packs.
Just mixing what we already have — and saving money every week 💸

If your toddler eats like a snack gremlin too… you’re not alone 😂

💬 What’s your go-to easy lunch for little kids?
