Every time an autumn order comes through, I have to smile because we're just getting started with summer here in Ohio. But clearly, many of you are already thinking ahead to pumpkins, cozy decorating, and all things fall.
I can't blame you—fall has always been one of my favorite seasons. 🤎

I’ve had this old milk can sitting in my garage for years, just waiting for the right inspiration to strike. 😊

After sanding through layers of old paint and stenciling, I discovered the original Greenville Dairy lettering hidden underneath. Once I found it, I knew I wanted to embrace its history rather than cover it up.

I refinished it using my favorite Sweet Pickins Milk Paint in Flour Sack, added a soft wash of Paint Couture Light Brown Sugar Glaze, and finished it off with a basket of purple and white blooms.

I love how this old piece was given a second chance and can now be enjoyed on my porch instead of collecting dust in the garage. 🤎

I was sitting here thinking about how often we rush through the days looking ahead to the next thing—the next project, the next appointment, the next weekend.

Maybe today is a good reminder to enjoy where we are right now.
