Wolf Head medallion custom made for a client. Carved from Walnut and measuring 3 1/2 inches tall. It’s my first time making a wolf head and I think it came out ok but I want to change the design a little next time I make one. Anyhow, hit me up for your custom pieces.

The story behind this console table I am almost finished with. Quite a while back, I had a client commission me to make him a TV stand top because his TV was too big for the stand that he had. He gave me a down payment and right before I was finished making it, he called and said never mind and told me to keep the down payment. Needless to say, I didn’t know what to do with it since it was already made, so I decided to make a console table using the top that I had made. When I started building the console table, I made the decision to go old school and not use any metal fasteners, like screws L-brackets, or even draw slides, so everything is put together with wood, glue, wooden dowels or mortise and tenons. Now that I’m almost finished and have put a golden pecan stain on the top and the drawer fronts, I need to decide what color to paint the rest of it. Should I go with white or black?

In many indigenous tribes of the American Southwest, the lizard is a symbol of strength and resilience due to its ability to adapt and survive in the harsh desert conditions. Here is a lizard carved out of Red Oak measuring 3 1/8” X 2 1/4” on a 34 Inch wooden beaded necklace (Quarter for size reference). It is now available for purchase so let me know if you’re interested. FastBird Creations
