Regardless of the quantity, I always aim for the highest consistency, which means I draw pencil guidelines for every single card.

The math: (1 vertical line + 4 horizontal lines) x 106 cards = 530 lines.
>Draw 530 pencil lines
>Write 106 names in pencil
>Write 106 names in ink
>Erase 530 lines and pencil names
>Make 106+ shell wax seals
>Attach 106 seals to 106 es**rt cards
>Take hundreds of photos
>Select and edit photos
>Upload to web gallery
>Organize names alphabetically, pack, and ship

Take this process and multiply it by every item and quantity. Sometimes I work standing, sometimes sitting, and sometimes I'm lying on the floor in the middle of the night attaching things 🤣

Some might think, "Who cares?! They're just name cards that people throw away after the wedding." Well, my clients do, and so do I!

I don't care where these beauties are going to end up. When I do something, I want to make it great, and that is all that matters.

Personalized reception menu card 💚

To bring this design to life, I had to send the artwork to two different printers for letterpress and digital printing. Three die-cut plates: two for the shell details (front & back) and one for the flip-open base. Two letterpress plates for the front and back details.

Every calculation had to be exact so that when you open or close the menu, the pearl attached inside fits the hole on the front page perfectly. The empty space for guest names was also calculated in a way that leaves just the right amount of space for even the longest names.
