Peniche 26’ 🇵🇹 💚❤️

It’s been a month since the festival in Peniche, Portugal, and I still cherish so many moments from this very special event. 🧡

For as long as I can remember, the festival has taken place outdoors, in the main square of the city. This year, for the first time, it moved inside, into a beautiful venue that had been transformed with so much care and attention to detail.

The whole space was incredible. Each representation had its own generous area, with its banner and national flag displayed alongside it. Even the surroundings celebrated lace, lace-shaped lamps above us and delicate lace-inspired vinyl designs across the floor.

It really made me realise just how much work, thought and heart the organisers must have put into creating this space. Huge congratulations to everyone involved, and so much respect for every little detail that made the festival feel so special.

We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🧡

A few works from my latest exhibition, “Bloom”.

This garden has no single path and no clearly defined boundaries. It grows from scents, flavours, images, and emotions, fragments of the past that somehow continue to live within me.

Each flower carries me back to a different memory, a different moment, a different feeling.

Through lace, I try to hold on to what is fleeting and give those memories a physical form. In this collection, lace becomes my personal language of remembrance. 🦋

My unexpected princess moment with Xoaquin Ruiz ❤️

During the World lace festival I was running from one task to another when we suddenly heard that one of the models couldn’t make it that day. Without really thinking, I just said: “Okay, do something with my hair and I’ll wear the dress.” It felt like such a shame to leave this incredible work of art hanging backstage.

I had absolutely no idea how to walk on a runway, and there was no time to prepare. But the moment I put the dress on, something changed.

It made me feel special. Feminine. Strong. For those few minutes, I stopped thinking about everything happening around me and simply enjoyed the moment.

Fashion and design are not only about how something looks. A beautiful piece can completely change the way a woman carries herself. It can give her confidence, presence and a feeling of becoming a slightly different version of herself.

That is the real power of design. 💕

The last four weeks have been busier than ever. Now that I’m finally back home, sitting with my morning coffee, I’m slowly processing everything that has happened.

I can’t help but smile when I think about the past few weeks. I definitely need a little break, but at the same time, I already miss you, my lace family 🥹💕

So many beautiful moments, conversations, people and memories to carry with me. 🧡
