If you’ve been around a while you’ve probably heard me talk about Hygge A LOT. And there’s a reason! Hygge was a word I came upon, I believe it was Pinterest or all places — one of those cute word and description graphics — anyways, when I read what “Hygge” was, something changed in my brain. Finally a word for this FEELING I kept having but couldn’t put a name to it. Hygge is our ‘why’ and what inspired this cozy candle co. ✨🕯️🫶 so we celebrate international Hygge day each year on February 28th, in honor of where we got our start 🥲

Hygge (hue-gah) — A Danish concept centered on coziness, presence, and quiet contentment. It’s the feeling of soft light at dusk, warm drinks in your hands, meaningful conversation, and the deep exhale of being exactly where you are. Hygge isn’t about perfection — it’s about comfort, connection, and creating small rituals that make everyday life feel gentle and good 🫶✨
