It’s been almost a full year since I posted on my account and I feel like it is finally time to come back. 🤍

This year has been full of huge changes, many challenges and a lot of adjusting. We are finally reaching the point where we feel at peace for the first time in a really long time. Thank you for those of you who hung around. I am grateful for all of you. 🙏🏻

I hope you are all having a Merry Christmas Eve. This Christmas Eve has been everything we could have asked for and more. We spent the day with family, cooking, playing games and watching football. It’s so surreal that what Joel and I have prayed for, for 6 years is finally here. We finally feel at home. 🏡 🤍

Merry Christmas Eve!
It didn’t feel right not having a tree post on my feed so here it is! 🎄
We are spending our Christmas Eve quarantined because c*vid finally hit our family, but we are making the best of it. Our sweet friend dropped off homemade dinner, we made homemade Christmas cookies, made reindeer food and we’re going to finish the night watching Christmas movies.

Since it’s December 1st, I would much rather be showing you our Christmas tree and decor but it’s not quite ready yet. Perks of moving during the holiday season…😅

But here’s a first look at our kitchen in our rental. I know we are only here for a few months but there’s no way I can’t decorate. 😅

Hi there… long time no see!
We are finally in our rental that we’ll be in for the next few months until the new house is finally done next summer. We moved in on Monday but you know that didn’t stop me from decorating in time for thanksgiving! 😉

We are spending thanksgiving with a small group of friends and feel so relieved to be keeping it small this year. What are your thanksgiving plans? 🦃

Selling our home was so sudden so I never got around to sharing some refinished rooms, such as this one. We will officially be out of the home in a few days and so our home currently does not look anything like this photo. 😅
It is bittersweet but we are so ready.
