It's delivery day today, while we are out and about for Aimee's follow up appointment after knee surgery.
The stand is for Dusty Lane Country Co and will be seen at their next event. The pink shoes are for Breast Cancer Awareness which Dusty Lane support strongly.
The fire tools set is for a customer who contacted us. The finish is raw steel with a brass transfer highlight.

So, if you are looking for that one off item or something special, get in touch and we can work something out.

This firepit will be up for grabs at the Casterton Kelpie Muster - festival for Kelpies.

Watch their socials for the how and when.

We will be there with all of our wares and available to take your orders.

How good do these look?

You don't have to be a horsey person to have these hanging on your wall.

$70 + postage for the large one and $50 + postage for the small one.

The large ones measure approximately 900mm long by 190mm high and the small ones approximately 450mm long by 190mm high.

If you would like different colours let us know and we can do that as well.

Show season might be over for now, but that doesn't mean the forge stops working.

Show prep is in full swing getting stock ready for South East Field Days this Friday and Saturday.
Our everlasting flowers are always popular so this year we have plenty.

Today at the Tyrrendarra Show, a very special visitor stopped by at The Sanity Factory.
We had a busy fantastic day so a big thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported us.
Thank you to the show organisers as well, you do a wonderful job.

Well 2026 is shaping up to be a busy one. Here is the current dates for where we will be this year.

Today we had a couple of special visitors to our little piece of sanity.
Zara, who is a friend of our daughter, and both very keen horsewomen, and Zeph her younger brother.
They had both seen us in action at Sheepvention Rural Expo, and especially Zeph had been very keen for a go.
So after some organising with mum, Mádi Grey, we managed to have them over today.
Zeph made a fire rake and toasting fork (he chose which twist we did), and Zara made a hoof pick to use help clean out the horses feet.
Zeph discovered quite quickly that it gets quite warm in the forge and that swinging the hammer is far harder than it looks.
Both kids did a fantastic job and from what mum has told me had an absolute ball.
Now, we need to make this very clear. We are NOT set up or insured to do classes. We would love to, and maybe sometime in the future we will. But right now the logistics don't work for us. This was a treat for these two wonderful kids.

Pete is back on the anvil. Although not going flat out at the moment.
Here is a little project that he has completed for a local builder.
As the before photo shows, this is a well loved crowbar that has many many hours of work and needed a bit of love.
The final result shows what can be done with a bit of care and attention.
