Ok, so my finger isn't healing as it should be doing. I am being referred to a community hospital, to a specialist who can deal with it. I am not allowed to get it wet, and must keep it covered, clean, and dry. We go away in seven Weeks, praying i can get it wet by then. 🙄.
That said, I will soon be TRYING to return to work, and gage what I can do. I will waterproof my finger to protect it from the paint and sanding dust. For now I will be finishing an order and doing my own projects, which will be for sale. This way if I am struggling then I am not committed to a time frame for custom orders. Once I am sorted and on the mend, I will be opening my books for custom orders. So please carry on being patient with me, and as I said, projects will be for sale. 🙂😁.

Good morning everyone. I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I have had an injury to my finger. I stupidly sliced my skin on broken glass. It is taking a while to heal, and lots of dressing changes at the doctors. I will post the latest photo in the comments for those who do not wish to see it. It is my dominant hand, but I hope to get back to work ASAP.

So the unit is nearly finished, I will post updates once it's all complete, and I have shown the customer. The next project is the wine/ Gin bar. I cannot wait to start this. I won't bore you with the sanding and cleaning process, but I will post pics and a video once I have started painting and making the inside area ( yes, I have to make shelves, wine glass holders etc) so this should be fun to watch as I go along. 😁

The back is painted. 2 stencil designs done, and it's all had it's final coat. 1 more stencil design to go, 2 more doors...

Just finishing this commission before I can start the wine/ gin bar. The top has been white washed to take away the orange. I now need to varnish the top, give the sides 1 more coat, paint the inside slats sage green, and stencil the design on the doors to match the drawer. The top of the unit is finished and wrapped up to protect it (the doors need going on ). I will show the unit put together when it's completely finished 🙂
