TW: pet loss.
I made this custom mug for Melanie and thought the message was so beautiful. She shared the inspiration behind it. I know how incredibly special our pets are to us so Iām sure the story will resonate with many of you:
āMy soul dog, Foster, left the physical world in January, at the young age of 6. Heād been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma last summer and fought through an amputation and chemotherapy like an absolute champ. It unfortunately spread to his lungs quite quickly and I had to make the best and kindest decision for him. Iāve been broken ever since. He took part of my soul and heart with him.
Iāve had dogs my whole life, and loved every single one of them, but Foster is beyond special to me and we had an incredible bond; itās been hard.
In my grieving journey, I came across the line āFind me in every lifetimeā on one of Jesseca Tyrrell | Ladybug Art drawings and it just spoke to me.
