It’s day 24 without my Jonah.
💔 that boy brought so much life, joy and energy to our family and home, even from afar in the army. The overwhelming feeling of devastation doesn’t even begin to describe this….our lives will never be the same….WE will never be the same

We are incredibly thankful for the time we’ve had with him.

We are thankful and grateful for all of his and our friends & family who have truly shown up and come to our aid in this time of crisis. We haven’t been able to reach out to each and every one of you and say thank you who have supported us this far, but please know we appreciate every ounce of support and every prayer.

Healing and rebuilding a new life will be an incredibly long journey, and an obstacle filled one at that….so thank you to all of you who have helped me and us keep getting up each day. ❤️

Fun fact: I never tried my hand at creating art as an adult until 8 years ago when during a pack-up to move to WV from OH to help my company start up a new manufacturing plant, one of my movers suggested I paint my dining set instead of buying a new one as planned! My life as an artist (still feels weird to say) was definitely never planned or expected! And I for sure never expected to fall in love with creating as much as I have!!!

Happy April Friends!

Here’s my “One year ago…” post photo! If you haven’t seen these posts before, every month I love taking a moment to look back and appreciate all of the cool things I was creating a year ago and also see how far I’ve come in a year!!

April 2024 was super busy, just like April 2025 will be! We had 3 big Spring markets we were vendors at, two of them out of town! WHEW! We still have Spring market season this year, but we’re being very choiceful with our time and resources and we’ve chosen ❤️ as our ONE & ONLY SPRING MARKET IN 2025! ❤️

It looks like two full days of pack-up, disassembly, two stuffed rigs & WORK! 😂🙌💪

We said goodbye to our Crestview Painted Tree location yesterday for the last time.❤️

Announcing our shop closure at Painted Tree Boutiques - Crestview Hills, KY this month was definitely bittersweet ❤️ We loved that shop dearly and did well there, but the location is just too far for me to fluff&stuff as much as I need to with all of our kiddo stuff I handle! With a 3yo, 5yo and TWO sophomores in highschool in the house still I had to make an executive decision to simplify!

As we close this chapter for our shop in this location, I’m feeling so much excitement about what’s coming next for us!! Life is such an adventure y’all! Closing one door opened up another door for us y’all and we are so thankful❤️
