We created this little recessed drop zone off the garage entry into the kitchen. This marble is backlit and truly such a statement and elegant piece in this kitchen.

A place to gather! 🤎 These Lamorinda ranch homes are often built with large floor to ceiling brick fireplaces…and this home had three! To update the brick, we lightened the mortar color and it really brought it back to life. We added a little dining area off the kitchen with a mix of beautiful wood tones for added interest!

Love this idea for tall families: elevate the laundry appliances and add a little pull out shelf for laundry baskets to sit on while making everything more comfortable!! Even little ol’ 5’ me loves this idea!
