Hand-crocheted items from someone who loves yarn and books!

July was all light pink, dark purple, and one little row of light purple. Those 90+ degree days were all the way back in June!

July was a great reading/listening to audiobooks month for me. My favorite read was Lenny Marks Gets Away with Murder by Kerryn Mayne, but there were several close behind, including Just Last Night by Mhairi McFarlane and The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. What did you read and enjoy in the month of July? Are you planning to read any of these books?

The list of books I’ve given 5 stars to this year is small, but this one made it! I don’t think everyone will love it as much as I did, but it was a perfect book for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m at today from 11-5 with copies of my books and crocheted book keychains and plushies. If you’re in the Oxford, MI area, stop by and see some local authors and pick up a book from this adorable indie bookstore!

6 months done and 6 months to go on my temperature blanket! It’s getting big!

May and June were weird reading months for me...I was busy crocheting for a craft show in May, then most of June was spent having surgery and recovering from surgery (i.e., napping). I did read two great new releases from two of my favorite authors: Emily Henry and Katherine Center! What did you read this month?

Indoor snowball fight kits are one of my top five bestsellers. I sold out of them…again…in June. Are people done with summer already??

Started this baby blanket a while ago and finally finished it! It’s one of the blankets I’m adding to my collection to sell at craft shows later this year.

Unlocked the 90+ degree color on the temperature blanket. The only color left is white, and I hope that color is never unlocked!
