Sonos, founded in 2002, delayed its first product release until 2005 to ensure high standards. For the past twelve years, as both a customer and professional, I have consistently asked my Sonos handler, Roger, when a dedicated, multi-zone house audio system amplifier would arrive—the holy grail for whole-home integration. That persistence has paid off. Tonight, Roger provided an exclusive, comprehensive training on the new multi-zone amplifier, scheduled for release later in 2026. The session covered all facets of its design and integration. My thanks to Roger for his time and expertise. This long-awaited product affirms Sonos's philosophy: taking their time, listening to the community, and delivering "right." This new amplifier will be a game-changer for custom installers and homeowners seeking integrated, high-fidelity whole-property audio.
