Glassic Beautifully handcrafted glass products My glass work uses fusing and slumping techniques which bonds pieces of glass together in a kiln.

Prior to fusing, sheets of glass are hand cut to the shape and size required. A full fusing method is used on all my pieces to temperatures around 820 degrees Celsius. 'Full' fusing refers to the process of heating pieces of glass until they fully merge. My slumped pieces allows the fused glass to be bent and shaped into the form of a mould. Slumping always forms the second stage of the two-stage

fusing and slumping process. To achieve the desired effect, the slumping process uses a colour firing depending on the glass and mould used to achieve its shape. My slumping firing tend to be between 650 and 750 degree Celsius. Each process takes around 12 hours to fire and cool which I do over a one or two day period. Experimenting with sheet glass, powders, metallic effects, frits and various other forms has enabled me to transform a new glass artwork into decorative pieces which are bespoke and original. My pieces can be adapted to fit in to personal colour scheme and individual taste.
