Over the last 3 weeks I've been selling all my pottery equipment.

My Kiln went to it's new home in Cumbria yesterday, the wheel goes to a lovely lady in Sheffield on Monday, who's setting up her own Community studio and my glazes and other equipment will go on to have a second lease of life with other lovely local potters.

It's been incredibly sad to see it all go, but it's a case of needs must as I'm moving on to pastures new.

I never imagined my small spare room in my previous house would end up with me having a larger home studio in my current house and my own Etsy shop and sending my handmade pottery all over the world!

Better still, I was able to raise regular funds for local cat rescue, which is another passion of mine.

I never thought playing with mud would help me develop a creative outlet I never knew I had. It worked wonders for my mental health when I was at a very low ebb.

Sometimes one door needs to close for another one to open....
