Each unique piece is inspired by the amazing land, sea and sky scapes of the Outer Hebrides and is skillfully made using many different looms, yarns and techniques.

I’ve been keeping busy designing and creating, yet there never seems to be enough time to bring all the ideas in my head to life—but I give it my all.

I’ll have plenty of new designs and creations on display at my stall during The Quality Craft Emporium next week, on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May.

On Saturday, I’ll also be doing weaving demonstrations using some of my many looms.

The event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm at The Cabarfeidh Hotel in Stornoway, where my fellow crafters and I will be ready to welcome visitors.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you.

It's been a busy time lately in lots of ways but the making continues.

I will be at THE QUALITY CRAFT EMPORIUM on THURSDAY 16TH AND FRIDAY 17TH APRIL. We are open from 10-4 both days and I for one am really looking forward to it.

As well as having my stall with lots of lovely things available to buy, I will also be joining forces with Nikki, The Crafty Weaver, and we will be demonstrating of weaving skills. She will be showing the process of Harris Tweed weaving and I will be showing the different ways I create items using my variety of looms. You can even have a taste of weaving for yourself.

Lots of making going on here as usual to get ready for my next craft event.

I'll be at The Quality Craft Emporium on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd April from 10:00am until 4:00pm both days.

Lots of lovely new goodies on the stall.

This piece on the loom at the moment will be turning into a nice, long table runner. I got the idea for the pattern after watching a huge patch of seaweed swaying to and fro under the waves on a recent dog walk. The photo doesn't really do it justice.

Just a few more days and I will be setting up the stall at the March Quality Craft Emporium. I am really looking forward to it as well as catching up with friends and being amongst a gang of makers again.

I have some completely new items on offer as well as variations of old favourites with more coming along all the time.

Well it's only a couple of weeks until I will be at The Quality Craft Emporium with Whimbrel Crafts and lots of other amazing makers.

It is based at The Cabarfeidh Hotel and will be open from
10:00am - 4:00pm on both Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March.

I have been busy making new items for the stall and have lots of new ideas in the pipeline for the season too. I also have some lovely items that would make brilliant Mother's Day gifts, so if you are looking for a special something pop along and have a browse. I am looking forward to meeting you.

It's been quite a while but Whimbrel Crafts will be out and about again very soon.

Find me at The Quality Craft Emporium at The Cabarfeidh Hotel on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March along with lots of other amazing makers.

It will be my first outing for a while and the first of The Quality Craft Emporium's events this year so I'm really looking forward to saying 'Hi' to everyone again.

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the people who bought items from me today at the Barvas Craft Market, and also to the organisers who once again did a brilliant job. I had a lovely day chatting to friends old and new and came home with lots of space in my boxes which I need to fill up again.

I am taking a break from markets over the winter now but the website will be updated and items are still available through there. Happy to post to you.

Whimbrel Crafts will be at the Craft Market at Barvas and Brue Community Centre this Saturday 29th November.

Doors open at 11 am and we are all there until 4 pm.

Plenty to choose from and refreshments too.

I will have some lovely handcrafted woven and knitted items as well as jewellery and painting.

Also available are 9 new designs of my knitted Christmas wreaths which are up for grabs at last year's prices.

Come and get a bargain and add a little something to your Christmas decorations. Every wreath is a one off piece designed and handmade by myself

Whimbrel Crafts will be at The Quality Craft Emporium at The Cabarfeidh Hotel on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November from 10 am - 4 pm each day.

Loads of talented crafters will be in the ballroom both days and a Children's Event is running alongside in the Oak Suite on Saturday.

Do drop by some shopping, fun and to say 'Hello'. Lots of lovely hand-woven and hand-knitted items as well as jewellery and other items.

Sorry for the delay in this but I want to thank everyone who visited The Quality Craft Emporium at The Caladh Inn last week.

We had a lovely couple of days and my thanks as always to anyone who made a purchase from me, especially the lady who has made me step up my headband making by her multiple purchases 😄. Your support is really appreciated.
