Banquette? Don’t tempt me with the possibilities.

Sometimes it’s not the right choice but when it is, oh it is! I’m talking the ability to seat a few extra bums on a bench, added storage, upholstery (or not), and endless options with tables & chairs. I haven’t even started on the window coverings, wallpaper and light fixtures!

She’s been *refreshed*

Scrubbed this one of it’s 90s roots and gave it the clean girl aesthetic. Simple terrazzo-inspired floor tile, silver accents, natural stone countertops and mid century touches all give this relatively similar layout a brand new vibe. Swipe for my fave - unreal before/afters 🫧

We’ve hit that time of year when the time truly is a construct. You don’t know what day it is, stuff is everywhere, and it’s really starting to feel like the whole house needs to be purged and organized.

Happy to encourage anyone that has the energy for a full resent, but also here to give you permission to ignore it for a little while longer and become one with your couch 😴 … all that stuff is a future you problem.

Good bones, as they say.

The original wood burning firepalce insert was good (duh) but the surrounding was just… odd. The proportion just felt *off* so we ripped out everything around the insert and leaned into a more modern and streamlined shape with extra wood storage to boot. Swipe to see some pretty darn unbelievable before photos, the wood storage fully stocked, and the best girls who most certainly understood the assignment.

Daydreaming about this perfectly calm bedroom that I could quite easily collapse into for a few days 🫠 !!

Turns out that when your little one hasn’t slept properly for a few weeks, Christmas magic needs to be made, and projects need to wrap up for end-of-year, the absolute ideal way to indulge in “self care” is pretty simple. Give me an evening under a cozy blanket, with a festive treat or two (butter tarts/pfeffernusse) and some solid gold trash tv and I’m fully recharged.
