More epoxy coasters in the works. 💀🥀

Top coating is my nemesis but it doesn’t help that I am a perfectionist. 🙃♍️
Epoxy art and perfectionism don’t go well together, so I am challenging myself to loosen expectations and love the imperfections.

Today I am going to attempt round two of top coating these beautiful coasters.
As you can probably tell from my initial post on these ages ago, I’ve had them put away for some time. That’s because my first attempt to top coat these, the micro bubbles were so plentiful that it looked like dust was all over them.
It wasn’t dust. It was microscopic bubbles that I had to sand off!!!!
It took a lot of time, a lot of patience and a very sore wrist.
Feeling slightly defeated and disappointed in my endeavours, the art got pushed to the side because I was NOT wanting to go through that process again.
As we all know, learning a new skill takes time, practice, fails, patience, but most of all, a willingness and dedication to not give up. (I almost did.)
Let’s pray round 2 goes so, so, so much smoother than round 1!! 🙏🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼

Ok, I’m fiiinallly done this table & I adore it! 🖤
It’s not without it’s flaws, but it’s perfectly imperfect.
