THOUGHTS ?????
BEAUTIFUL piece that I want to work on, BUT. . . .
I just can't decide on a color! Initially was all about doing a very light blush, but I think that will limit the people interested. So, now I am considering an antique white(ish) with dark wax (to bring out all of the beautiful woodwork!) and refurbished hardware in either antique bronze, gold or possibly black.

SOLD

3-drawer dresser is newly refurbished and looking for a home. This unique, one-f-a-kind piece would be a conversation piece in any room. Wood cabinet is stained a warm golden oak and protected with three coats of polyacrylic to withstand daily use. The three large drawers have been updated with coordinating paints and each have authentic hardware to portray suitcases/travel trunks. Measures 26"w x 15" d x 28" h. Piece is currently in Grawn. Can pick-up or I am willing to meet or posible deliver in the Traverse City, Grawn area. Cat and smoke free. Cross posted.

I apologize for MIA. First, I got so busy with our games (crackanutmysteries.com,) and now I am homeschooling my great nephew and niece, so everything else has taken a backseat. Once things calm down and the littles are able to return to school, I will get back to working on furniture ;)

I realize I have been totally AWOL for the past month or so. Our small game company, Crack-a-Nut Mysteries, has reallyv been getting a lot of attention and we have been very busy filling orders. I am hoping that one things settle down I will be able to return to furniture. For the time being I am looking to move some of the completed pieces out. So, if you see anything you like- make an offer! I also have a couple of items that are REALLY CLOSE to complete, so I'm going to try to finish then up in the next couple weeks to make room.

SOLD - Suitcase Dresser
I purchased this dresser nearly 30 years ago at The Pinery. I bought it for my son's nursery, and over the past three decades, it has made it's way through many rooms in the house. It became my latest project, and it is totally unrecognizable now! The base has been cut off and replaced with sturdy metal legs. Two very large drawers and two smaller are adorned with a cornucopia of hardware to give them the appearance of vintage suitcases. A variety of handles, locks, latches, keys and stickers come together, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture. Exterior cabinet is stained in a warm, aged oak and protected Poly-Acrylic. Measuring 30.75" h x 30" w x 16.75" d, this attractive storage solution would be a standout piece in any home.

I always have to name my pieces because I need a folder to save the photos in. This dresser got named the "Corona Suitcase Dresser." I finished it up yesterday, and today I got a shipment that included 100 Travel Stickers. This "Corona Hotel" was included, so I just had to add it to the dresser! I am sorry that this piece has already sold, but I am already looking for just the right dresser to create another.
