1909 coles shaker. Completed another restoration of a customer supplied coles shaker. Customers client wanted gloss black with guilded accents.

This particular machine had an uncommon cla.p bar which although old, was not original. Ot also had very incorrect items for the glasses. Started by disassembling the machine which proved to be more challenging than others. Once disassembled it was cleaned, bruahed, and blasted. Then it went off for epoxy primer and gloss eurathane top coat. I had various parts nickel chromed, new brass glass lids metal spun, and the clamp for the glasses recast from an original.

During assembly extra play was noticed in the spike dle so I o erbored it and added dry running bushings. I masked various parts and wither sprayed or hand painted the gold details. Grease and piled and off to the races.

These are becoming exceedingly rare and when one becomes available, it exhibits a commanding price to own. Ive beennluck to own several and even luckier to have people trust me with their relics.

Thanks to those whose professional service helped me bring this back to life.

Finished a pair of Alaska Ice Crushers from early 1900s. One has a set of custom cast legs which gives a useful lift. Although not original I believe they came out great. It's finished in a textured black powdercoat. The other is all original and powdercoated in a black chrome. Both have been upgraded and have food safe dry run bushings to eliminate metal on metal from the spike drum. Shortly ill install an engraved brass medallion in the legs. How they look ?

My good friend Humberto Marques owner of Cerfew Cocktail Bar in Copenhagen Denmark 🇩🇰 was so kind as to give me a few mentions in Forbes as they spoke to him about his antique barware and historic drink shakers that I helped him restore. I'm so humbled he credited me with the work I did on these relics for him. He's truly a great person with an amazing cocktail bar. Cheers.

At Curfew, owner Humberto Marques adds to the bar's speakeasy vibe with three cocktail machines made in the U.S. in the late 1800s, the only ones in Europe.

Completed another super rare Coles hand crank drink shaker. This was made by the Coles Manufacturing Co in Philadelphia PA. These were originally in pharmacies to compound medicine. Then cocktail bars and speakaesies or soda shops.

This unit was found in decent condition with original paint but was far from complete. It was disassembled, sand blasted, polished and cleaned. Some parts went off to be full polish chrome. Others were wet epoxy primed and painted. Other parts had to be sourced. New fitting glasses were a challenge to source that would actually fit. We then had to find a craftsman to make tooling to metal spun new lids that can accept common seals. It's a bold color choice by the client and it blends right in.
It is currently with its client in New York.
