So much love and excitement for September 🖤 It always feels far more like New Year than January does. New projects on the horizon, cosy nights are back, and an excuse to light every candle in the house. Oh, and it’s my

It’s my birthday month 🎉

Who doesn’t love cosy, layered lighting?

Back to school, routine and new stationary. According to my husband, I definitely don’t need another notebook 📒 We’ll see!

Catching up on existing projects and exciting new ones on the horizon.

Weekend trip to Oslo 🇳🇴 with friends at the end of the month.

Living etc tours… so excited for this as I loved it pre-Covid 🏠

When people ask how I feel about my business.

The honest answer js proud…for all of these reasons! The clients, the projects, the people I’ve met along the way and what I’m quietly hoping my children are watching me do.

I didn’t come from a design background. I left a career in probation, retrained, and built something from scratch.

There's something very special about a client coming back for more.

This project, a complete kitchen, dining, and living extension, was a pleasure to recently see in all its glory. The brief was to open up the back of the house and create a space that worked hard but never felt like it was trying too hard. Somewhere to cook, eat together, listen to music, and feel genuinely connected to the garden.

My clients and I worked through everything together, layouts, lighting and electrical plans, materials, flooring, furniture selections, and what came together was a true reflection of them and what they love. The contrast of the dark kitchen against exposed brick, vintage leather chairs catching the light through the skylights, the slat wall framing the dining space, it all flowed perfectly.

That was 2021. And now my clients have invited me back to undertake further work in their home. There really is no better compliiment than that.

Corners of my home

I now understand why builders take so long to get around to their own homes! Finally, I l've focused time on elements of my own home and I couldn't be happier.

Bespoke cabinetry by has transformed the alcoves in my lounge and I've had hours of fun styling them...this is the first iterations, I've no doubt there will be many more.

Colour drenching in my other lounge with gorgeous Pigeon, colourful rug of dreams and my favourite striped armchair.

Lastly, my hallway has had a refresh thanks to the very talented and meticulous

I adore using colour, pattern, texture in my home and filling it with with things we love, memories of happy times and our travels. I love to help my clients achieve the same, a home that truly reflects who they are and what they love.

What a 6 years, and I'm so proud of how far I've come! Running your own business is definitely not for the feint hearted, but it really is worth it.

I've worked on some amazing projects, made some brilliant connections, and learnt so much. I just wish I'd done it sooner. Here's to the next six years and beyond!
