Our breakfast on a cold October morning was Bacon & Ham Waffle Bake. This was our 2nd attempt at the recipe and the results were far superior to the first that was too salty. The key to success was to source a lower salt ham and not add any salt at the step that says "Salt & pepper to taste". We have held off posting the recipe until we solved the salt issue...will post when we get back to a computer later this week.

Here is Steve cooking Sunday breakfast for a whole lot of Cub Scouts and their parents at Columbus Firemen's Park. We lit the stoves at 6am to serve at 8am; getting that much water to a boil takes a lot of energy and time. 5 pots of boiling water each with a 5 pound of eggs cooking in a bag. We fed about 170 at Saturday night's supper, about 120 camped overnight in the park and awoke to a hot breakfast.
