So, you see, I've been holding onto this table for years, and it's starting to feel like a permanent resident - which it was never meant to be; a foster fail, of sorts.

I had a plan for it, started sketching it and all, but somehow it ended up a catch-all for my other misc. projects, waiting to find a higher purpose.

So, is anyone interested in a custom coffee table? If so, let's talk design ideas, because I need my space back, and this guy deserves a good makeover and a home where he'll be appreciated.

These garlands are all finished and ready to find their new homes.

All should fit a 6' tree.

Just a reminder that I can still make coasters, as well.

In addition to the last painting, I have a few others that I'm working on finishing up (sometimes you just need to step away from a project to be able to come back with fresh eyes), and this is one of them.

I left this one sit for longer than I would have liked, simply because I was afraid to add color - I didn't want to ruin it - but here we are. I'm still working out the details, but we're getting there!

I started this painting about 8+ years ago. It's still not finished. I've started and finished numerous paintings between now and then - some that only took days to complete - yet this is one of several that have sat unfinished.

Between major life events, a lack of free time, a lack of motivation, and battling with my own mental and physical health, my art has suffered - and I have created a void in myself in my failure to create.

I've picked it up many times with the intention of finishing it, but simply couldn't bring myself to actually work on it.

Trying to color match acrylic mixes is the bane of my existence when painting, I swear. I dread it every time.

My art style has changed since I started this, and I no longer remember the vision that I had for it. My personal style preferences have changed since then, and it's hard to paint in a style that is no longer what I find visually appealing.

I've recently picked it back up, and I've forced myself to work on it. I have no idea what I'm doing with this. I only know that I'm going to finish it, one way or another - whether I'm happy with it or not.

I'm going to try to finish all of my unfinished pieces, and hopefully, in doing so, push myself back into the creative headspace that I've locked myself out of for so long now.

I miss making art. I want to get back to it.

The "White Christmas" garland is also finished and ready for its new home on someone's tree.

This garland was technically the first one I started, but it took many trips to the store for more beads and a few weeks of waiting for the ones I needed to come back in stock. It ended up turning out much nicer than I had anticipated, and would only be more impressive on a decorated tree.

The "Silent Night" garland is finished and ready for its new home on someone's tree.

This one is hard to photograph on my tree, as both are black, but it's a very cute garland that would look great with complementing ornaments.
