My “Why” for becoming an entrepreneur is this: I want to help teach others to achieve financial independence, and help to fight homelessness across the US. To support this, at least 5% of profits from every BreyaCrafts sale will be set aside and committed to these causes. I’m also proud
to share that the BreyaCrafts brand is the first business partner of the organization Solving Homelessness In Colorado (SHIC). This budding nonprofit aims to identify and improve upon best practices in homelessness intervention by using Colorado as its first testing ground, and then to scale into a nationwide resource for both homeless individuals and the organizations that serve them. I believe everyone should be able to have a shelter they can call home, along with the opportunity to build financial security for themselves and their loved ones. I’m grateful to be able to leverage my passion for creating artworks, and use it to help facilitate social change and empowerment for those who are disadvantaged.
