Cook it up review!
Sometimes, in a world full of exotic food trucks and over-the-top creations, you just want a really great burger.
If you're in the Waterbury area, make your way to The Meating Place Outdoor Eatery LLC at 1264 Meriden Road, Waterbury, CT 06705. Their menu has something for just about everyone—from hot dogs, cheesesteaks, chicken sandwiches, seafood, wings, and more—so there's no shortage of great choices.
That said, we keep coming back for one thing: the Double Smash Burger. Perfectly smashed patties with crispy edges, juicy in the middle, and packed with incredible flavor. It's simple, satisfying, and easily our favorite item on the menu.
Friendly service, plenty of delicious offerings, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere make The Meating Place a spot we'll be visiting again. Highly recommended! 🍔🔥
