ATTEMPT 3 🤯😍 well 3 and a half. The 1st of the 3rd attempt I kept the architraves white but it didnt look finished to me 🤷‍♀️ the 2nd of the 3rd attempt I painted the architraves and VOILA....finito....completed....done....dusted ....until next week 🤣 JOKING.

So to reiterate the downside of being a decorator. I couldn't sit in it in the states it was in so would work into the early hours to get it done after being in work all day. If I couldn't do it myself I wouldnt have been so indecisive. Its a curse but also a blessing.

I DO LOVE MY JOB THOUGH. ❤️

THE DRAWBACKS OF BEING A DECORATOR........

THIS IS NOT A ROOM FROM THE SET OF CORONATION STREET 1962! 🤣

ATTEMPT 1 - NO NO NO and NO. This is what happened when I swapped bedrooms with my son going from a room twice the size to one not so twice the size. I knew I wanted green and panelling but didnt know whether to colour drench? Paint different colours? wallpaper one wall? or all walls? 🤷‍♀️😫🤯 and then that happened 👇👇👇😫😫😫😫😫 I panelled the walls, colour drenched in overtly olive. Bought the only wallpaper they had of a similar colour and papered throughout, well 3 drops short and decided at that point it was a NOoooooooooooo and promptly ripped it straight off the walls.

ATTEMPT No2 - I colour drenched the whole room in my go to colour. Tiuana by Good Home (B&Q) knew it wasn't right for the room but proceeded til it was finished 🫣😫🤯🤯🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤪.

Stunning 😍 Guest bedroom makeover. Walls, ceilings and woodwork prepped, 2 coats applied to ceiling, 3 coats applied to walls, 1 coat of white applied to feature wall prior to hanging a finished paper. This prevents the colour shining through the paper. 1 undercoat and 1 topcoat applied to woodwork. Love it ❤️

CUUUUUUTE 😍 I remember decorating this bedroom in preparation for the new baby. He's no longer the baby of the family and ite been redecorated for the same little (grown up)boy 💙. Ceiling, walls and woodwork painted and a mural hung on 1 feature wall. Love it.
