Fiona Richardson Printmaker and Illustrator I create limited edition prints using dry point etching and chine colle (collaging found papers) inspired by the beautiful Sussex surroundings.

I have been illustrating and drawing for a number of years, but a year or so ago I discovered the magic of printmaking at The Paddock Arts Studio in Lewes. I started to delve into the world of dry point printmaking and have been trying to capture the beauty of my Sussex surroundings and images from my travels through print work. I’ve had a busy few weeks getting my work together to put out into the world first at The Crypt Gallery with the lovely then at the fair and with for Brighton artists open houses.. but it’s all been worth the effort following the lovely responses to my work, so I just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone who’s visited, asked questions, shown genuine interest in my printmaking techniques and bought my work.. it brings me so much joy that my work is shown some love whether it’s through a sale, a lovely comment or interest in my style of printmaking.. it all means so much 🙏🏻

There’s been quite a lot of love for my latest piece.. shown here, which is one of my favourite pub walks in Lewes and fabulously run by my super clever friends Bethany and Steve 🙌 🍻 I highly recommend the walk and the pub!!

Been experimenting with a more inky and textured style to bring out the etching marks that stay with the plate as they they are so lush on their own.. quite a contrast to using lots of colour, but lovely to hear some other people’s thoughts as you scroll on by! 🤔🧐
