What started as a small interior project slowly grew into a whole-home renovation, and watching it evolve has been such a pleasure.

There’s been so much thought, care and heart poured into this home, and being trusted to take that journey beyond the original brief has been a privilege.

Looking back at this Bantry Bay penthouse, one of the things I wanted to get right was how the spaces would actually be lived in.

Creating comfortable dining areas was part of that.

The kitchen island became a breakfast nook. The balcony became a place for dinner with a sunset.
And within the open-plan living area, a dedicated dining space gives everyday meals their own place to happen.

It’s those little decisions that make a space feel considered and easy to live in.

As a mom, I know what it means to want a space that actually feels like theirs. Somewhere they’re proud of, and somewhere that grows with them instead of a “kids’ room” they’ll outgrow in a year.

The finishing touches are always my favourite part of a project 🤍

It’s when everything starts to come together and the space suddenly feels different.

A chair that was just sitting in an empty corner now feels like the perfect spot to curl up on a Sunday morning. A room that was once just four walls starts to have a sense of life to it.

That’s what I love about the final stage. It’s not really about adding more. It’s about adding the right things until the space feels like it belongs to someone.

Site visits, dust, rubble, endless decisions and walking around imagining what this house is going to become. Basically the fairy godmother of interior design, just with less glitter.

This is the part no one really posts, but it’s the part I actually love. The mess before the meaning.

For this project, we played with warm tones, tactile textures, patterned cushions and soft furnishings to create spaces that feel considered without feeling too perfect.

Each bedroom has its own feel, but the same idea runs through them all: comfortable, considered and inviting.
