When the eye is drawn to travel across expansive, continuous surfaces instead of being interrupted by a grid of lines and joints, that’s FLOW hard at work, reducing clutter and producing the magic that invites wellness into a space. Quite frankly we don’t know anyone who wouldn’t put their hand up for that. Italtile’s exclusive collection of monolithic porcelain slabs are standing by to transform your home into a sanctuary of calm. So let’s start by removing any anxiety you might have about investing in this elevated, timeless look. Because you’ll  have questions. Rightly so. Slabs are still relative newcomers on the South African design scene. And it’s completely normal to have misgivings about dipping a toe in a new aesthetic.

We’ve answered some of the most commonly asked questions over on the blog. Tap the link in our bio to find the clarity and the confidence you need to bring your dream seamless space to life and feel FLOW at work.

Haute Luxe refers to the pinnacle of exclusive, high-end luxury. It emphasises rarity, exceptional craftsmanship, personalisation, heritage, and the soulful artistic quality that goes way beyond commercial branding and industrialised luxury. Meticulously handcrafted one-off pieces that move the heart with the beauty of deep attention to detail. Design dreams that carry emotional resonance rather than price tags. This is the design territory of Milan Design Week’s Salone del Mobile. A passion-driven display of wild creativity and innovation that assailed our eyes and captivated our hearts earlier this year. We battled to find the words to describe it all, but we hope our thoughts and feelings in our StyleNotes #2 over on the blog do it justice. Follow the link in bio.

The Romans were super inventive. Apart from their durable roads, awe-inspiring buildings, running water, air con and excellent cement, they had an uncanny knack of finding the right word to describe a feeling. “Delectabilis”, they used to murmur, when something charmed or pleased them. From which sprang our “Delight”. A feeling worth serenading when encountered in a living space. Weaving delight into our living spaces transforms ordinary rooms into sources of daily joy, boosting mood and nurturing a deep sense of wellbeing. With the considered addition of elements that spark surprise, beauty or playfulness, we curate homes that actively celebrate life and top up our contentment tanks. We unpack this very intentional aesthetic in our Delight StyleNotes on the blog. Follow the link in bio.

Stress. Anxiety. Seasonal depression. Irrational fear. Hits us all. How do you deal with it? Pills? Or daily practice? In our experience, the latter offers far more enjoyable side effects. Feelings like joy, wonder, surprise. The daily practice we speak of is, of course, the intentional search for delight in everyday life. A state of being perfectly content and uplifted by your surroundings. Beautifully curated spaces will do that. Spaces that are intentionally designed to evoke feelings of delight. Let us help you develop a “delight mindset” with the curation of interior design elements chosen for their innate ability to relax, comfort, inspire, restore and uplift. It all begins with a read of our Delight in Design StyleNotes. Find the link in our bio.

In a world that feels increasingly heavy, with distant conflicts, whizzing drones, soaring costs, and racing thoughts – there’s never been a better time to create pockets of pure delight in our everyday spaces. Delight. A feeling as old as time, and one the Romans encapsulated with their Latin “delectabilis”, murmured no doubt when that rush of joy hit. At Italtile, we believe a home filled with delight is a harbour of happiness. Beautifully tactile surfaces, the play of light, layers of contrast, pops of colour and thoughtful details all work their powerful magic to spark joy and bring comfort. We’d love to walk you through inspirational ways in which you can curate delightful spaces. Hit the link in bio to find the inaugural issue of StyleNotes on our blog, devoted to the pursuit of Delight in Design.
