This battered and neglected patio set was ripe for the dump!

Rustic Revival Projects had other plans!

With some clever repurposing, and a little help from Polka. Paint in Mykonos blue and sealed in Armour Gloss, this set has a brand new life.

The prep and paint for this sort of surface entails:
❤️removing flaking paint with Strip ‘n Flip, a wire brush or wire wheel,
❤️cleaning well with lacquer thinners
❤️applying 2 to 3 coats of Polka. Paint
❤️sealing with Armour

We’re so glad that woodgrain and paint have come together in perfect harmony ❤️

This beautiful revamp by The Wood Work Restoration Guy demonstrates what a combination of Black Betty in our Chalkpaint range can achieve (sealed in Polka. Seal) when joined with the beauty of the natural woodgrain.

Thank you for sharing your make over with us Madelein ❤️

“Distressed furniture is not such a big thing anymore but a neighbour wanted it done on an old orange pine chest of drawers. I had a lot of fun with it and used only Polka in Mont Blanc, Cacao, Duck Egg, Mykonos and Polka Seal.”
