At Supply&Install and Sand & Seal we are experienced wooden floor sanding specialists. We use proven professional methods and techniques of floor sanding and restoration that will leave your flooring with a smooth professional finish. We start the process by sanding down the existing floor by using several grades of abrasive belts decreasing in coarseness upon each sand. We also fill joint ends and holes/knots in boards where we deem necessary. As we apply the laquer a further sanding is undertaken between coats to ensure that any “nibbs” are removed and that a truly smooth surface is achieved. Once we have achieved a perfectly fine finish, we then apply the stain(if required), followed by 3 coats of oil or sealant to ensure that “mirror like” surface and shine.
