Taking a trip down memory lane to 2007 - 2008, I am sharing with you photographs of my home gallery on the Midlands Meander, exhibiting Idalet's beautiful artwork set against the interior wall colours she selected. I kept Idalet company, while she painted this magnificent top entrance gate, it was an unbelievable experience of her creating this mural onto the large blank metal panels (1.8 m x 3.6 m), without using any reference material. She also selected the house's exterior paint colour to give it extra warmth since it was situated in the mist belt of Winterskloof.

2005 Large ethnic paintings on canvas from South Africa were painted by Idalet while living and exhibiting art in Germany. This collection portrays beautiful ethnic paintings by Idalet, painted while she lived in Germany, six months at a time. There she had exhibitions in Köln, Frankfurt, Berlin, München, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. She was also interviewed and invited by RTL (a German Television Channel) for an exhibition at the International Aids Gala in Hamburg.

Large decorating companies and hotels invited her for solo exhibitions in Jordan, Bremen, Ibiza, Luxembourg and Köln. Rosenthal AG also requested her designs for reproduction on their porcelain. Hotel groups, large decorating firms and private collectors purchased her work from countries which included Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, America, England, Luxembourg, Egypt, Turkey, Russia and Spain.
